The brilliant minds behind the goghai project
Koki earned both his M.Eng and Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo's Department of Mechano-Informatics, where his dissertation focused on compliant manipulation for service robots. Raised in Sapporo in a family of calligraphers, he merged artistic heritage with high-precision robotics, publishing a dozen papers on visual servoing before founding the goghai initiative.
Yoshiki completed his B.Eng. at Kyoto University and then joined JSK Robotics Lab for doctoral research on open-source perception stacks for industrial arms. Growing up in Yokohama surrounded by classical painters, he now blends deep-learning aesthetics with ROS software engineering to give the robot its own creative flair.
